"We have a plan to ease restrictions from the 18th of May. Our plan is to reopen our country in 5 stages. All things going to plan, the fifth phase will begin August 10th.
From next Tuesday, you will be able to exercise or drive within 5km of your house. This includes those cocooning if they avoid contact with others.
Schools and colleges to resume in September.
From May 18th outdoor construction work, DIY stores and some outdoor sports can resume, small groups of friends and family allowed to meet outdoors. Later, cafes, bars, cinemas, gyms will open.
Our museums, galleries and other cultural outlets will reopen from 20 July and our theatres and cinemas from 10 August. I'll continue to work closely with all stakeholders to agree appropriate plans that respect health and social distancing guidelines."
